St. Charles, IL resident Marci Jobson makes a triumphant return to her home state with her teammates, in an effort reach to thousands of soccer fans on a personal level and to encourage physical activity and soccer participation among our nation’s youth.
“Returning my home state is exciting because this is where it all started for me and now young players get an opportunity to train with us and meet our amazing soccer players,” said Jobson. "While our team is preparing for the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup, we truly believe it’s so important to make the time as a Players’ Association to reach out to the local communities and share our experiences.”
In cooperation with the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team Players’ Association and the US Youth Soccer Organization, soccer fans will have the chance to “Meet the Players” from the # 1 Women’s Soccer Team in the World at youth soccer clinics hosted before and after their USA vs. New Zealand match.
